Ruha Benjamin is a faculty member in the Center for African American Studies at Princeton University and is the author of People’s Science: Bodies and Rights on the Stem Cell Frontier. She writes and speaks widely on the tension between innovation and equity in the U.S. and globally, and is actively involved in initiatives to transform public engagement with science, medicine, and technology.
